Stan's Bio
Stan Smith is a passionate worshipper who uses his diverse gift-mix to equip the church, assuring the whole body of Christ that God wants to walk them into rich encounters with Him. Stan and his wife JoAnn often minister together in prophetic teaching and in gifts of prophecy and healing. Stan has taught in Bible schools and was a pastor for 17 years, engaging in prison ministry, inner-city evangelism, and travel to many nations. Since then, Stan and JoAnn have served in Healing Rooms and in prophetic presbytery at home and abroad. Stan often leads soaking meetings at the keyboard, releasing an atmosphere in which people see visions, gain clear direction, and receive deliverance or healing.
JoAnn's Bio
JoAnn Smith is an artist, a minister of the Spirit, and a passionate worshipper. She often ministers the gifts of the Spirit, and lately has begun preaching as well. She and Stan have ministered together in several nations; they have served together in prophetic and healing gifts. Meeting locally on the Central Coast for several years has resulted in the formation of a committed group of believers who gather regularly to sit under their teaching and to be a part of the unique worship experience led by Stan. Consequently they are currently devoted to the job of full time pastorship of their church congregation called “The Gathering.” The Gathering hosts weekly worship services in Nipomo, CA.

1) Teaching
Stan has taught the word for more than twenty years in Bible schools and in churches where he served as pastor.
JoAnn doesn't teach, but she sometimes shares an exhortation when she ministers with Stan. The word flows with more anointing when the church has prayed and asked God to speak to them.
Stan's teachings generally focus on the finished work of the cross, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and the open heavens -- all themes that move towards equipping the whole church for ministry.
2) Prophetic Song
Stan has moved in prophetic song for more than thirty years. Sometimes he is asked to lead worship; he usually makes a lot of room for spontaneous song.
JoAnn worships in the dance as part of the congregation.
Stan has presented workshops about prophetic song in many churches, and has produced printed resources as well as a CD of prophecies and prayers in song.
3) Prophecy
Stan and JoAnn flow together in personal prophecy and word of knowledge. They minister in a low-key and relational style. Stan and JoAnn like to have the pastor orchestrate the personal ministry, and be on hand to judge the words they are giving.

4) Healing
Stan and JoAnn minister healing together. They participated for a few months in the Santa Maria Valley Healing Rooms.
Stan and JoAnn like to minimize their importance in the release of healing, focusing instead on the grace and love of God. "We try to get people to see Jesus -- it is His presence that brings healing."
5) Writing
