With Prophetic Worship

Prophetic Song Workshops

Use prophetic worship to reach for encounters with God's glory. Prophetic song is intimate, spontaneous, personal. It steers the church away from performance-driven worship and towards lifestyle of face-to-face encounters with God. Whether your church is launching this new worship style or fine-tuning it, Stan's workshops can help equip the whole church to worship God in Spirit and truth.

The workshops begin with three sessions -- they can happen on successive nights of the week, or on a weekend. Then, to maintain momentum, Stan leaves PDF files of bulletin inserts your ministry can use to make prophetic worship into part of the ongoing ministry of your church.

The workshops will impart vision to the whole congregation. Worship is not just a performance given by a worship team; it is part of the whole church's relationship with God. Stan's materials will help awaken the whole church to their role in welcoming an atmosphere of the Holy Spirit.

The workshops will give the church tools to cultivate a life of spontaneous worship. Anyone who is hungry for God can worship Him at home or in the car, using their own musical instruments or singing along with CDs. The workshops give tools everyone can use to deepen their own devotional lives.

The workshops will give the worship team ways to practice the new song. Practicing spontaneity? This isn't an oxymoron! If the worship team will practice singing spontaneous songs, they will be ready to flow when God gives something new in the church service. The workshops give them several patterns they can practice.

The workshops identify several core values the pastor can sow into with prophetic song. Here are several: the priesthood of all believers, hearing God's voice, being open and transparent with God, and treasuring God's manifest presence.

The bulletin inserts will enable your church to keep the vision of prophetic song alive after the workshop is finished. Stan will soon be posting these inserts on a blog.

Workshop # 1

Explore Prophetic Worship

This workshop explores what the Bible says about prophetic worship, helping the church become comfortable with the free worship. As the congregation learns to flow in a new song, it will enrich their prayer life and their ability to serve in other ministries. This workshop covers --

Two Sounds Of Jesus' Voice -- the sound of many waters is a spontaneous sound we can release whenever we want. The sound of the trumpet is a prophetic sound released only when He chooses.

The Sound Of Many Waters -- every Christian can be a miniature New Jerusalem with a throne in our hert and a river flowing out. There are several styles the worship team can use to release the church in the sound of many waters.

The Sound Of The Trumpet -- I Corinthians 14 identifies several principles that will make room for God to speak to the church through prophetic song.

Workshop # 2

Prophetic Worship: Learn To Hear God's Voice

This workshop focuses on hearing God's voice, a skill the whole church can learn as they worship God from the heart. Prophetic worship is a dialog, not a performance. This workshop includes --

Four Keys To Hearing God's Voice -- these simple keys will apply not only to worship, but also to every other aspect of our lives.

Focus On Jesus -- the Bible tells us how to center our thoughts of Jesus. As we do so, we put ourselves in position to hear God's voice.

A Spontaneous Flow Of Words -- there is a song we sing to God, and a song Jesus sings to the Father through us. When this spontaneous flow of words begins, we are hearing -- and singing -- the voice of God.
